How Do I Download my Submission for an Assignment?

Since the university is finishing the transition from Brightspace to Canvas, any work you have in Brightspace will be inaccessible after Dec 18, 2019.  If you have assignment submissions in Brightspace that you wish to keep, you will need to download them.

Go to Course

On your Brightspace home page, click the course from which you want to download a submission.

Go to Assignments

Click Assignments in the navigation menu.

View Assignment

Click the completion status for the assignment you want to download

Download Submission

Click the file for the submission.  This will automatically download the file you submitted.

It is recommended that you save the downloaded file(s) someplace safe and backed up. A few ideas are:
