How do I use the image retriever in my FHGEN course? (students)

This is the Image Retriever used in FHGEN Courses. When the content page is first opened this should be how the content page should appear.

The "Search Films" search bar is circled in red. In order to retrieve the image the FHL or Record number needs to be entered here. The red arrow indicates the Search button. After the FHL or Record number is entered clicking the Search button will retrieve the connected images.

The red arrow indicates the FHL or Record number that was searched. After entering in the correct FHL number it will appear in the Search History area. The correlating record images will appear below the Search History area. These images are indicated by the green arrows. Each image has three buttons on them. They are Expand Image indicated by the purple arrow, Download indicated by the blue arrow, and Print indicated by the orange arrow.

When Expand Image is clicked a new tab will be opened with an enlarged version of the image.

Download will download the image.

When the Print button is clicked will open a page like the one above showing what image will be printed as well as different options for printing the page.

When the Clear History button, indicated by the red arrow, is clicked the Record or FHL number will still appear in the Search Films box. The number will, however, no longer appear in the Search History area. The images tied to the number remaining in the Search Films box will still appear be the Search History area.

When the Search History isn't empty, clicking on the different options, indicated by the red arrows, will change the images being shown. The Search History area will continue to show past searches until either the Clear History button is clicked. When the Image Retriever page is refreshed without clicking Clear History the Search History area will appear empty. The Search History area will remain empty until an FHL or Record number is entered in the Search Films box and the Search button is clicked. This will reveal the past searches in the Search History area.

When the FHL or Recored Number is entered incorrectly the Image Retriever will appear as above. When this happens make certain that the FHL or Record number has been entered correctly, make certain that there aren't any spaces following the number. If the issue persists please inform your instructor.
